Website Design & Development

We love to make you look good

Business owners almost never need convincing that they can benefit from having a website. It’s proof of existence in the modern day. It’s even progressed to the point that businesses don’t generally question the need for a responsive website—one that looks great on any device and screen size. However, many of these same businesses—and their designers and developers—fail to implement some of the most crucial aspects of a successful website.

We’re here to help business owners establish or improve their online presence by creating compelling, high-performing websites. We do this by keeping your business goals and the user experience at the center of the process. Your website should convert casual visitors into clients or customers.

We take our job seriously, and we have a lot of fun doing it!

1. Planning and research

It’s critical for us to start the project with a strong foundation so that all our decisions support your strategy and the goals for your website.

  • Site audits
  • Brand strategy
  • Site purpose and goals
  • Audiences
  • Competitors and positioning
E

2. User experience

Too often bypassed designers, this is a crucial phase of our process. It helps us prioritize your users’ needs in order to increase conversion rates.

  • User personas
  • Site map
  • Features and functionality
  • Wireframe layouts
  • Prototype
E

3. Visual design

This is where the website starts to shine with your brand’s personality. It’s important that the visual tone of your site resonates with your audience, while being unique to your brand.

  • Typography
  • Color
  • Artwork
  • Mockups

4. Development

The development phase is when we fully build out the site. We first host it at a temporary domain so that you can access the site for testing before it’s accessible to the rest of the world.

  • CMS / framework
  • Coding
  • Integrations
  • Testings
E

5. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

It’s a major priority of ours to make your website easy to find. It’s not enough to gain traffic by sharing links with your existing audience. You need potential clients and customers to find you through Google and other popular search engines.

  • Technical requirements
  • Keywords
  • Meta titles and descriptions
  • Image alternative text
E

6. Analytics

It’s no longer a set it and forget it process. Not only can we gauge areas for improvement through the collection of analytics, we can actually learn more about your customers by reviewing their behavior on the site.

  • Analytics map
  • Google Analytics with Google Tag Manager
  • Google Search Console
E

7. Pre-launch

In preparing for a successful launch, we run through a pre-launch checklist to ensure everything is ready to go live. This includes activating third-party integrations, and more specific testing on different devices and browsers.

  • Backups
  • Integrations
  • Device and browser testing
  • Refinements
E

8. Launch

Starting with what we call a soft launch, we push the site live a few days before officially announcing the launch. This gives us time to do final testing before the influx of important traffic. After launch, we train your team to make updates to the website as needed.

  • Post launch
  • Training
